The first quarter of 2022 saw diverse trends among the top 5 medical apps on the iOS platform in Australia. Here’s a breakdown of their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Express Plus Medicare had a notable presence in Q1 2022. Weekly downloads were strong, peaking at around 86K in early January and gradually declining to approximately 21K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at about 122K in the first week of January and tapering off to around 68K by the end of the quarter.

HotDoc also showed consistent activity. Weekly downloads peaked at nearly 29K in the first week of January and stabilized around 14K towards the end of March. Active users saw a slight increase over the quarter, maintaining a steady level around 75K to 90K.

SafeWA experienced a gradual decline in both downloads and active users. Downloads started at around 9.5K in mid-January and decreased to approximately 3.6K by the end of March. Active users reflected this trend, dropping from about 94K in the first week of January to approximately 43K in late March.

Check In CBR showed a significant drop in weekly downloads, starting from around 12K in early January to just over 500 by the end of March. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 55K to 74K throughout the quarter.

Finally, MyPractice saw moderate download numbers, peaking at around 2.5K in mid-January and stabilizing around 2K by the end of March.
